Suzanne Swarin traveled far and wide in pursuit of her dream. Which makes perfect sense, since traveling was her dream. Sue was a flight attendant, whose kind heart and genuine nature made her a passionate collector of friends. Fittingly, while at home in Charlotte, it was friends who first introduced Sue to North Carolina Dance Theatre. Instantly captivated, Sue carried her love of dance for the rest of her life, which unfortunately ended too soon due to cancer.

Sue’s planned gift to the North Carolina Dance Theatre was one of four gifts she left to non-profits, totaling just over 91% of her estate. Her memory lives on through her many friends and through the two new commissions created by her gift.
