LINDA LOCKMAN-BROOKS
CHILDREN’S THEATRE OF CHARLOTTE

Linda Lockman-Brooks and her husband, Wil, dedicated a significant part of their lives to supporting the Children's Theatre of Charlotte. Through their own children's participation they've experienced the Theatre’s power to build confidence, encourage expression and form friendships that last well beyond the curtain call.

The couple’s commitment never wavered, even after their children grew older and moved on from the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. Linda is currently a member of the Theatre’s Board of Directors and believes strongly in the arts’ ability to positively impact the lives of young people.

Because of their shared belief in the value of the Theatre, they wanted to ensure that the enrichment their children received through the Theatre's programs and camps remained available to the community. They decided to honor the organization with a planned gift, naming the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte as a beneficiary of their life insurance policy. Through their planned gift, Linda and Wil are providing the valuable resources necessary to keep this community treasure alive.
