Mason Wallace, JR.
The Charlotte Symphony

Mason Wallace Jr. loved the symphony. He loved his home of Charlotte even more. Born and raised in Charlotte, Wallace studied at Davidson College and went on to serve his community as a Mecklenburg County commissioner and devoted supporter of the arts community. As a season ticket holder and board member for the Charlotte Symphony, Wallace cherished every opportunity to enjoy his favorite performances with both friends and family.

In 2010, the Charlotte Symphony received a $1 million bequest to its endowment from the Estate of Mason Wallace, Jr. In a challenging financial climate, this powerful gift supplied immediate support for the Symphony, while also providing crucial momentum for the vision of Music Director Christopher Warren-Green.
